We all still remember back when the Nokia 6 was launched and marked Nokia’s return to the smartphone manufacturing industry with Android, and now, perhaps due to the response by Nokia’s fans, we might be able to see a refresh of the Nokia 6, with updated hardware, and improved specs.
Nokia 6 (2018) on TENAA
According to TENAA, the Nokia 6 (2018) will come with the octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC and Adreno 508 GPU, making it the second Nokia Android phone with that chipset, following the Nokia 7, launched last October 2017.
No 18:9 display 🙁
Unfortunately, this isn’t riding the 18:9 display bandwagon as it will still have a 5.5-inch screen with Full HD resolution, 4GB RAM along with two options for the ROM/internal storage – 32GB or 64GB.
No change in cameras
The rear and front cameras will stay the same as in the previous Nokia 6, 16MP rear shooter and 8MP on the front.
The fingerprint scanner moves on the back, right below the camera setup and there’s also hybrid dual SIM slot for microSD card with up to 128GB more memory.
It appears as well that the Nokia 6 (2018) will be offered in White, Blue, and Black.
Since it was already on TENAA, we’re sure that it is coming close to announcement.
