According to an emailed statement to GMA News, HMD Global Oy, the one who owns the rights for the Nokia brand, is set to release the new version of the Nokia 3310 in the Philippines by June this year along with its other feature phones and smartphones.
The company will be unveiling some feature phones this week – such as the Nokia 150 (Php1,500), Nokia 216 (Php1,790), and the Nokia 230 (Php2,890). All these three phone will have Dual SIM capability as well.
The new Nokia 3310, the one who did all the buzz recently, is also set to launch in PHL, however, there’s no exact price for Philippine market as of now, but in Europe, the handset is expected to retail at 59 Euros (~Php 3.3K). HMD also mentioned that their Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphones will also arrive in the country in the second quarter of the year. No pricing details as of the writing.
