MWC 2018 is approaching and here we are again with the most number of rumors with regards to what else – mobile, of course.
With regards to that, another smartphone leak has got onto our radars, this time, from the site DroidLife which apparently seemed to be a promotional material that shows a full render of the upcoming Moto X5 with some details about its specifications.
According to DroidLife, the upcoming Moto X5 will have quad-cameras (that’s two in the front and two in the back) as well as an 18:9, 5.9-inch Full HD+ display (first Motorola phone that joins the 18:9 bandwagon) that seemingly has an iPhone X-like notch at the top.
Kudos to Apple for starting another trend.
However, we all got confused because there’s no place for the fingerprint reader in front — and on the back. This implies that Motorola could be ones of the first recipient of Synaptics’s CleadID in-screen fingerprint reader.
Another thing that poked our attention is that “Moto XP” on the left-most bottom, which is probably the name for Motorola’s smart artificial intelligence (AI).
Availability / Release Date
While the official announcement date is still left blank, and with this promotional material being leaked already, we’re expecting Motorola to take it out of the curtains during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, in Barcelona next month.
