Last week, Cherry Mobile’s Product Development Engineer Vince Vicente teased on their Cherry Mobile show about the company’s upcoming flagship smartphones – the Flare S6 and Flare S6 Plus. (see video below, 32:00 mark).
Now, Vicente revealed some details, including the information that both the Flare S6 and S6 Plus will be sporting 18:9 TrueView Display screens (that’s how they call it), and is more likely to the upcoming Huawei Maimang 6 / Nova 2i, which also sports 18:9 display and quad-camera setup.
On the processor side, the Flare S6 Plus is still rumored to sport an octa-core MediaTek chip.

Pricing and Availability
While there’s no official word yet from Cherry Mobile with regards to pricing, it’s estimated that the Flare S6 Plus will be priced at around PhP8,990, based on previous Flare S5 Plus pricing.
It is also expected to launch by October 12 along with the smaller Flare S6, so stay tuned.
