Xiaomi isn’t stopping on releasing good looking phones (well, according to this photo), and with the latest rumor mill roundup, the company’s alleged Xiaomi Mi 6X or possibly the Mi A2 outside of China, is now in prototype stage.
Based on the photos above, the alleged Mi 6X will sport a possible 5.7 or 5.9-inch 18:9 display, along with a dual rear camera like the one on the iPhone X. The fingerprint scanner is also located at the rear. Other rumors point to it being powered by Xiaomi’s next/upcoming in-house SoC, the Surge S2.
Also, there’s the alleged Mi 6X case that was previously leaked, suggesting a possible USB-C port (bottom), IR blaster (top), and of course, a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Xiaomi might change the final design of the Mi 6X, since there are no markings at the back of the prototype phone.
There’s no other information about it other than being expected to be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) on Barcelona next month as well as it being sold possibly as the Mi A2 outside of China.
