We thought that Alcatel will bring new phones out on CES 2018, but that’s not the case, and probably not the appropriate event as well. So, in a sneak peek provided through by Alcatel, the company confirms that they’ll be unveiling new smartphones which joins the 18:9 display ratio bandwagon at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) next month at Barcelona.
The posters below also confirmed that Alcatel’s new smartphones will come in three new variants, namely the Alcatel 5, Alcatel 3V and Alcatel 1x.
The Alcatel 5 seems to be the company’s “budget premium” offering, with features such as face unlock, 18:9 displays, dual-selfie cameras while sleek premium black and gold design which comes at a price that will surely make expensive flagship phones on the run.
While the Alcatel 3 seems to be aimed at customers who are looking for a decent capable 18:9 smartphone offering, while maintaining a surprisingly affordable price point – rumored at ~179 Euro / PhP11,1k
In a lighter note, leakster Roland Quandt gave us a hint of what the Alcatel 3V will be.

Lastly, the Alcatel 1x seemed to be the company’s budget 18:9 offering, sporting premium-look, although we still don’t know if what is it composed off.
